Koujaku x Reader: not just friends.

Your name is (f/n) (l/n). You’ve lived at Midorijima from quite a long time now. When you arrived Aoba was the first person that you met. You were lost, so you asked for directions, and after that you’ve discovered that you were neighbors. One day he invited you for supper and you knew Noiz, Clear, Ren, Mizuki and Koujaku. You’ve become close with everyone, especially with Koujaku. He’s not just a good friend for you, and he’s not like a brother for you. He’s your everything, he always cheers you up, for you he’s the cutest, sexiest and nicest guy you’ve ever met. Yeah, you’re terribly in love with him, you can’t deny this. You spend a lot of time with him and the Benishigure, and sometimes you receive glares from his fangirls. You can’t understand why they’re jealous of you, you’ll never be with him, you already know this. There’s not a reason why, you just know this, for real you just think this, but it’s the same. You think that you’re not his type, you’re sure that you’re not enough. Aoba always tells you that there’s nothing wrong with you, but you’ll believe him only if he uses scrap on you. You’ve always been insecure, and you’ll be forever insecure. Now you’re trying to get up, even if you’re having breakfast it’s like you’re still sleeping, you’re not a morning person. After work you’ll spend the day with Koujaku and the Benishigure, so you don’t know what to wear, you would like to look nice, even if you think what you think about yourself. Sometimes you’re pretty shy when Koujaku is around, and you care about how you look when you’re with him…of course, you’re in love, it’s normal, isn’t it? Now that you think about it, Koujaku is also a shy person sometimes, this makes him even more cute. And what about his smile? You just love everything about him, and you could stare at him for hours. You’ll never forget the warm and kind look that he gave to you when you first met, his ruby eyes hypnotized you. He’s always in your mind, Aoba and the others always joke about this, but you don’t mind because you know that they care about you. Recently Aoba told you that you must try to confess your feelings to Koujaku, but you’re not sure about this. You’re scared, because this could ruin your friendship with him, you don’t want to lose him, this would break your heart in two. In addition, you’re too shy to say to Koujaku that you love him, word wouldn’t come out. However, a part of you would like to try anyway, because you know that he would never hurt you. It’s too early to go to work, so you decide to spend some minutes at the veranda of your house. You don’t notice that Aoba’s also outside, so when you hear his voice you half have a jump scare
“Hello, (f/n)”
“Good morning Aoba-san” you say cheerfully
“You’re in a good mood as always”
“Yeah, but I’m a little nervous too”
“Why? Is everything ok?”
“Yes, don’t worry. I was thinking about what you said me some days ago and…I would like to confess my feelings to Koujaku tonight, but I’m scared and…I don’t know how to act”
“Just be yourself, I’m sure that everything’s going to be alright” he says as he smiles lightly
“Do you really think so?”
“Of course, you know him, he hates conflicts, and he would never hurt someone who cares about. Even if it’s not the same for him he will be gentle with you, but I think that you don’t have to worry about this. Maybe you didn’t notice this, but sometimes he blushes when you’re around”
“Really!?”
“Yes, I’m not joking! He has a lot of his shy reactions when you’re around…just try to think about what this could mean” he smirks and you’re pretty sure that your face is completely red now
“S-stop it”
“You always blush so hard when someone tells you something like this, Koujaku completely stole your heart”
“Just.shut.up” before you can come back inside you hear Aoba’s voice again
“(f/n), wait. I was serious. I think that he likes you, I know the meanings of his reactions so…just go ahead with it and tell him what your feelings are, I think that you will like the results”
“Thank you Aoba-san, have a nice day”
“Have a nice day too (f/n)”

Finally, your workday is over. You come back home as fast as you can, you’re very excited and nervous, and happy too. You take a shower, you change yourself into cool but comfortable clothes, you do your hair in the best way possible and finally the last thing, you put on some light make up. You wear your (favorite jacket) and you walk to the south district. You love how Midorijima looks at night, and you adore urban life. You decide to put your headphones on, you play some cute and cool songs that make you think about Koujaku and how cute, and nice he is. You would die just to be in his arms; you would hug him and never let him go. You remember that feeling. Some months ago, you had an awful day, you discovered that the one who used to be your boyfriend betrayed you, and Koujaku helped you a lot. You started to cry, you weren’t able to speak, so he just hugged you tight and let you go only when you stopped crying.  You needed someone, and he was there for you, he wiped away your tears and made you smile again. Also, this is the moment when you fell in love for him, you realized how precious he is, you understood that he was the kind of guy that you were searching for. Now your search is done, you just need to be brave and confess everything to him. This is the hardest part. You don’t know how to say it properly, and you become shy when is the moment to say ‘I love you’ to your crush, but you have to do it. When you think about what Aoba told you this morning you feel that you need to know. You finally arrive at Benishigure’s meeting place. Everyone greats you and you sit next to Koujaku. The jokes of the guys around you make you blush badly, they sometimes say things like ‘You would be so cute together’, ‘You would be a perfect couple’ and so on. You notice that Koujaku is blushing too. One of his cute and shy reactions…maybe Aoba is right. After an hour or two, you go outside for a moment. The cold air makes you shiver a little, so you half close your jacket. After some minutes, Koujaku comes outside too.
“Hey (f/n)-chan” you hear something strange in his voice, you’re pretty sure that he’s nervous, but you can’t understand why
“Hi Koujaku-san” you say as you smile brightly to him
After an awkward silence, you say ‘I need to say something to you’ at the same time. You let him talk first, because you’re too curious. You can feel that he’s really nervous, and he has an hard blush on his cheeks “W-well…I…”
“Yes?” you say as you come closer to him. You didn’t thought that this would made him more nervous
“You know, it’s not easy for me to say that…”
“Well, maybe you can show me somehow instead of saying it” you just hope that your idea is right
He gradually leans down, getting closer to your face, and to your lips. You can feel your heart racing, and your cheeks are burning, your ears are hot too. He softly presses his lips on your own. At first you’re in shock, a part of you thought that he would never do this, so you just stay here, wild-eyed. On the other hand, you’ve never been so happy, so after a moment you kiss him back as you wrap your harms around his neck. You both pull apart just when you need some air.
You can’t stop smiling, also because he look to cute right now. You hug him tight, still smiling “I think that’s my turn now. I love you Koujaku, that’s what I wanted to say to you”
He hugs you back and speaks in a really sweet tone “I love you too (f/n)-chan”
You let go of him, your heart beating fast again for the question that you’re going to ask him “So…we’re together now, right?” you say shyly with a low voice
“Of course!” he replies cheerfully, then you can hear a serious tone in his voice, but full of love “I’ve hided my feelings for so long time you know? Now that I know that it’s the same for you…I just want to make you happy” he says as he holds both your hands.
“Koujaku…can I ask you something?”
“Sure, my dear (f/n)-chan”
“Can I stay at your place for tonight?”
He smiles to you and he caresses you cheek “You can stay for tonight and for every night (f/n)-chan”
You come back inside and everyone notice that there’s something different between you and Koujaku. You just avoid their questions and enjoy the rest of thins night. After some time you get tired, and you instinctively rest your head on Koujaku’s shoulder. You and him say goodbye to everyone and start to walk to his house. You like how it looks inside, you just love the old Japanese fashion of the furniture. Suddenly you feel that Koujaku is holding your hand, and you’re so happy that you ignore the glares of his fangirls. Now they probably hate you, but you don’t care. You hate them too, not just because you’re jealous, but also because you know that they don’t really care about him. They love him just for his work and because he’s handsome, nothing more. This makes you angry, because he’s a fantastic person, but no one of them looks like she cares. When you arrive at Koujaku’s house you get comfortable and you both go to bed. He wraps his arms around your waist and the feeling of his bare chest against your skin and his breathe ghosting on your neck send chills down your spine. You feel safe and comfortable in his arms, so you fall asleep after a short time.

When you wake up Koujaku is steel asleep. You smile at his cuteness. His hair are pulled back, so you can see both his eyes and his face tattoo too. You stare at his chest tattoo and at his scars. You just love them, for real you love everything about him. The alarm clock is setted, but it doesn’t work, so you shake his shoulder lightly to wake him up. He smiles at you, giving you a look full of love. This makes you feel so good.
“Good morning (f/n)-chan”
“Morning Ko-chan!” you say cheerfully, using your cutest tone on his nickname
“Are you going to call me like that forever?”
“Yep, it sounds so cute”
He kisses you, inserting more passion respect the first one of yesterday night “I’m fine with it”
“Can I stay for tonight too?”
“Of course you can. Waking up having you near me makes me feel good, you know?”
You blush lightly, and you can think only about how lucky you are.
